What:  Denton Drum Corps International Show

When:  Thursday, July 18, 2013

Where:  CH Collins Athletic Complex in Denton

Who:  All current band students including graduating seniors or next year’s incoming freshmen.  Parents are invited also!

Cost:  The cost of going on the trip will be $40.00.  The break down is $30.00 for the ticket and $10.00 for the bus.  If you don’t want to ride the bus with us, and buy a ticket only, you can do so.  Parents are welcome to ride with us. 

Details:  This event is one of many throughout the summer that is put on by DCI.  If you would like more info about what DCI is, visit www.dci.org/about/.  We will leave REL at approximately 1:00pm and get back around 1:00am.  We will watch the end of one of the drum corps rehearsal, eat dinner, and then return to Collins AC for the 7:00 show.

 The deadline for turning in your money will be Thursday, June 6^th, which is the last day of class. 

Please turn money in to 007 asap.  Please mark your envelope clearly with how many tickets you are paying for and who they are for.  If you are not riding the bus with us, please make sure to mark on your envelope that you are paying for “tickets only.”

There will be 4 performing ensembles for the 2013-14 school year (Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Winds, Symphonic Band, and Concert Band).  The audition results are listed in chair order except for Concert Band; Concert Band is listed in alphabetical order.  This audition list is complete with all make-up auditions and percussion.  The only students that are not included in the results are incoming 9th grade percussionists.  If you are an incoming 9th grade percussionist, you will not be in a band class for your 9th grade; you will be in a percussion ensemble class only.
